This year Poplar Bluff has several new teachers, but we also have some other new staff. Mrs. Kuper has been an instructional coach for a while but this is her first year in this district. For those that don’t know, an instructional coach is basically a teacher for teachers. Her daily job is to do whatever teachers need her to do, including teaching them new strategies for teaching. Her favorite part of her job is the fact that no two days are alike. She helps different people with different things every day, and is so far loving doing just that here at Poplar Bluff.

Mrs. Kuper grew up in Malden, Missouri and then went on to attend three different Missouri colleges; Missouri State, SEMO, and William Woods University. At these colleges she earned degrees in secondary english education, school administration, and education leadership. Before becoming an instructional coach she was a high school english teacher for seven years. Though she is open to other opportunities she has many goals to accomplish in this position, so we should get to have her around for quite a while.
